News of the Tentacle Clan

Ice Mirror Immortal King had learned his lesson. Knowing the man before him was violent, he did not dare keep him in suspense and immediately began explaining.

"I know of four races with tentacles.

"The first kind looks like you—taking all manner of human forms—but their cultivators grow many tentacles.

"They call themselves the Divine Tentacle Clan.

"Another kind consists of cultivators who look like all sorts of Strange Beasts. They call themselves the Savage Tentacle Clan.

"Then there is a race that looks like hearts, eyes, even mountains. In short, they are neither humanoid nor shaped like Strange Beasts. They are called the Mystic Tentacle Clan.

"And the last kind possesses all three of those forms, yet they do not belong to any of those three clans.

"They are called the Tentacle Clan. I do not know which kind of Tentacle Clan you mean, or whether you mean the true Tentacle Clan."

"The last kind, the Tentacle Clan." Song Zhong took another step forward and continued asking, "How much do you know about them?"

"I do not know much. I only know that among the four tentacled races, theirs is the weakest.

"Their Great Thousand World was likely born around eight-thousandth place in the rankings."

Song Zhong froze for a moment. "Around eight thousand? They do not seem that strong. They are only two thousand or so places ahead of us."

"Two thousand places is already an enormous gap." Ice Mirror Immortal King took the initiative to explain upon hearing this. "For Great Thousand Worlds ranked within a hundred places of one another, the difference in their birth may already be tens of thousands of years, or even one or two hundred thousand years. Let alone Great Thousand Worlds separated by more than two thousand ranks."
