One low-level, hideous Demonic Beast raced on all fours, kicking up grass and dust as it darted wildly about. Ahead, saber flashes and Sword Qi crisscrossed amid cries of slaughter. Farther away, terrified refugees screamed as they fled toward the city. People kept getting wounded and falling, or being pounced on and pinned down by Demonic Beasts, only for a pack of ugly creatures to swarm over and gnaw at them.
