After flying through the Heavenly Court for a while, her vision turned white as she passed through Auspicious Clouds. Once she emerged, she soon plunged back into the mist, leaving the grand palace complex behind and turning toward secluded, low-lying floating islands.
She landed lightly in the Heavenly Court's cloud-shrouded shantytown. The surroundings were actually several times better than those of Great Sects and mortal aristocrats; there were simply fewer exquisite decorations. Neat rows of identical little courtyards and houses lined the roads. Perhaps because the area was too remote and held little value, it had not suffered much damage from the aftershocks of spell battles.

A Potted Plant planted by some unknown celestial maiden had sent its roots down from the flowerpot and into the ground. It had grown from a tiny Potted Plant into a great tree that shaded the entire courtyard, laden with immortal fruit. Though not particularly valuable, the fruit was delicious, and many pits lay scattered across the ground.
Grass roots had lifted the paving stones, and Green Bamboo rustled in the wind.
One courtyard still held standing water. A decorative rockery, likely blown over from some immortal palace hall, floated atop it. The rockery's formation was still running, gathering trickles of water into a puddle.
She soon reached the little courtyard where she had once lived. The door had never been opened. Her homemade mailbox had fallen to the ground and was more than half buried beneath Immortal grass.
She picked it up, inspected it, and hung it back beside the door.
