A sandstorm swept across the desert, whipping up wild sand that blotted out the sky. The magnificent ancient ruins vanished beneath the sea of sand once more.

Bai Yujun's gaze seemed to pierce the vast distance and see the fortress. Exceptionally sensitive to the greater currents, she had been the first to discover the change. The fiends of darkness remained powerful, and more demons had joined them as aides. When she had searched for Black Bone Corpses through the mysterious space before, she had discovered that the number of high-level zombies far exceeded the number of human Great Ascension Stage cultivators.
