Daoist Mountain was a sacred land.
Unlike the Heavenly Court, which consisted entirely of floating immortal mountains, islands, and landmasses, Daoist Mountain's main body was a towering, mystical mountain range piercing the clouds, with numerous floating immortal mountains and islands surrounding it like attendants, overlooking the rolling sea of clouds.
"The highest goodness is like water; the Dao follows nature."
A certain Bai recalled that she had not focused on comprehending the Dao for a long time. Her realm was starting to fall behind a little.
The ship slowed and descended toward the foot of the mountain. Bai Yujun lay over the bow, shouting and looking everywhere, filled with the curious, nervous thrill of a wild snake entering the Grand View Garden. To hell with pretending to be calm—this dragon was showing her true nature.
At the foot of the mountain lay a clear, shallow lake. If not for the fish swimming within it, one might have thought they were flying through the sky.
She reached into the water and drew out long ripples. Pale mist softly billowed as red, white, and black koi followed the immortal ship, swimming and leaping. They had no idea that a fish-loving carnivorous beast stood at the bow. The Daoist disciples had probably raised these koi into foolishness. Without realizing it, a certain dragon recalled the fragrant koi of Shenhua Mountain.
The water was so clear that every pebble could be seen; birds wheeled through the sky while fish stirred up waves.
Splash~
A foot-long black carp leaped before a certain Bai.
With a smack, Bai Yujun almost reflexively opened her mouth and swallowed it whole. She ate it...
"..."
Everyone aboard turned to stone. Few dared to come to the Daoist Mountain and eat fish. For a moment, nobody knew what to do.
