The cavern hall was lit by Magic Lanterns.
The cultivators released lanterns to illuminate the darkness. The lights floated in the air, but, unsure which path to take, they hesitated. Then a group of higher-cultivated immortals barged in, shoving aside the Rogue Cultivators and seizing the best positions.
The Young Master in Fine Clothes said nothing. One of his attendants used a special secret art to track the trail.
After chanting an incantation, he grabbed a handful of white glowing powder and scattered it.
The dust drifted and fluttered in all directions. Rogue Cultivators stood in twos and threes at a distance to watch as the glowing powder floated toward one of the cave entrances, suddenly gathering and condensing into the image of a glowing woman. Though her features were indistinct, she resembled the female immortal they had seen before. The luminous figure stepped into the cave.
The gloomy-faced young man in fine clothes sneered and waved for them to advance.
Yet he had barely taken a step when he abruptly froze.
"Hm?"
His eyes saw graceful figures gathering one after another at every cave entrance. Their steps were elegant and nimble, and they were everywhere...
