Steward Hu and the villagers suffered through nights of ghostly nightmares, and after other masters failed to resolve the haunting, Steward Hu asked Old Monk Huixian for help. Huixian sent Little Stone to find Bai Yujun, who heard the request while fishing.

Ch. 256Demon-Exorcising Oddball Trio

Bai Yujun, Hui Xian, and Little Stone went to Steward Hu’s estate to deal with a vengeful ghost in the fishpond. After Bai Yujun raised the murdered man’s corpse and Hui Xian soothed the ghost with sutras, the ghost regained his senses and began telling them what happened.
