Chapter Summaries

Madara and Nagato summoned the revived Ten-Tails while the allied shinobi forces finished releasing the Impure World Reincarnation. Madara used Nagato to restore his living body and take his Rinnegan, but Hashirama and the others arrived and restrained the Ten-Tails as Madara prepared to face them.

• Nagato summoned the Ten-Tails as Madara and Black Zetsu prepared their backup plan, while Clone Orochimaru overloaded the Dragon Humanoid Mecha against Hashirama Senju’s True Several Thousand Hands until the mecha broke apart.
• The Impure World Reincarnation was released, ending Hashirama’s battle with Clone Orochimaru and freeing Hiruzen Sarutobi from his fight with Jiraiya; Tobirama Senju and Tsunade then headed toward the Ten-Tails.
• Clone Orochimaru brought Hashirama to the battlefield, where Madara and Nagato were being controlled by Black Zetsu and a White Zetsu hidden in Nagato.

Clone Orochimaru prepared Neji and Hinata to absorb chakra from the weakened Tenseigan and potentially awaken their own. Meanwhile, Madara moved to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki as Shennong and the Konohagakure forces fought to stop him.

Orochimaru countered her space-shifting tactics and reunited the scattered fighters, leaving them poised to continue the battle in Kaguya’s gravity dimension.

• Madara Uchiha began transforming after Black Zetsu stabbed him and revealed his loyalty to Kaguya Otsutsuki, who emerged from Madara’s body.
• Kaguya Otsutsuki transported the fighters to a lava world and attacked them, while Naruto Namikaze, Hinata, Neji, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi, Itachi, and Shisui fought back.
• Kaguya separated the group with Yomotsu Hirasaka, but Orochimaru used Sage Art: Super Inorganic Reincarnation to control the ice in his dimension and escaped through a Space Gate.

More than ten years later, Kakashi passed the Hokage hat to Shisui, while Orochimaru prepared to attend a celebration and continued researching Otsutsuki bodies.

• Orochimaru and the others trapped Kaguya with coordinated attacks, and Naruto and Sasuke sealed her inside a massive Planetary Devastation sphere.
• After Hagoromo summoned the group back to the Shinobi World, Orochimaru opened his own Space Gate and met Hagoromo and Hamura in the void.
• Hagoromo and Hamura explained how they had prepared the Pure Land and its preserved souls to resist the Otsutsuki Clan, and Orochimaru persuaded them to unite the world's strength and explore beyond it.
