A Host of Deities
Nalan Jinli was startled.
Being stared at by a group of deities was truly too terrifying.
Her little heart trembled wildly with fright.
"Don't be afraid. They're just Deity Statues," An Bulang spoke up to comfort her.
Still shaken, Nalan Jinli carefully examined the deities before her and realized that they could not move at all. They were merely lifelike statues. It was because the statues contained divine power and even the divine Dao of deities, emitting streaks of sacred divine light, that they seemed like real deities.
"What the heck? You scared the life out of me." Dragon Girl finally let out a sigh of relief.
She walked up to a bearded male deity, reached out, and tugged at his great beard with a smile. "Yo, pretty realistic. It feels quite smooth!"
The bearded deity blinked. "Why the hell are you pulling my beard?"
The air suddenly fell silent.
Dragon Girl's expression froze as she stared dumbly at the bearded deity before her.
She discovered that the bearded deity was glaring at her furiously...

Nalan Jinli screamed and swung a backhand slap at the bearded deity.
The bearded deity was extremely fast. His hand flashed like lightning as he countered, clamping down on Dragon Girl's wrist. "Well, aren't you something? Pulling my beard wasn't enough, and now you want to slap my face?"
The deity was enraged. An incomparably terrifying aura spread out, making Dragon Girl's heart tremble wildly.
"Stop!" An Bulang stepped forward. Vast and powerful divine energy erupted from his palm as he grabbed for the deity's arm attacking Nalan Jinli. With an explosive collision of divine energy, cracks spread across the deity's arm.
