After a lavish British dinner, it was time for the three guests visiting the Wayne household to leave.
Lestrange and Devin would be busy choosing locations for the pilot sites starting tomorrow, while Rinne wanted to spend the next few days properly sightseeing around Britain.
"See you another day."
"See you another day."
The Wayne family watched her burgundy GT-R drive away.
Vincent suddenly felt two ill-intentioned gazes upon him. "Dad, Mom, I'll head upstairs and rest first."
Eric sidestepped to block the doorway. "We have absolutely no objections to you doing business with them, but what's going on between you and Hermione?"
Evelyn smiled. "Go ahead and say it. Mom is very open-minded."
Vincent glanced around. "Dad, Mom, let's go inside and talk."
The three returned to the living room and sat down.
His relationship with Hermione was not complicated. They were more than friends and were currently in the stage of testing each other's feelings.
"Really?"
"Really."
Eric's expression turned strange. "Son, don't tell me you have some kind of psychological issue?"
"No, absolutely not."
They had been alone together in both the Forbidden Forest and the Scottish Highlands for so long. Something should have happened, logically speaking.
If it had been him back in his younger days, their child would probably already be in kindergarten.
Since it was not a psychological problem, then could it be...
Vincent felt creeped out under his stare. "Dad, we're students right now. We should focus on our studies."
"Bullshit!" Eric glared at him. "Didn't you already finish all the courses from third through seventh year?"
Evelyn's smile was somewhat terrifying. "I wonder who got home just yesterday and shouted about enjoying a happy campus life for the next four years."
Vincent was left speechless.
Eric leaned closer and lowered his voice.
