When the small metal parts were assembled into a set of golden armor, the thing Hermione least wanted to happen still happened.
Though she could tell it was modeled after a phoenix, she still felt that the black, metallic bodysuit had been pretty good already.
"Don't you think it looks really out of place if you wear this by itself?" Vincent picked up the golden helmet.
"And we're not going missing for just a day or two. If water gets in by accident, it'll be really uncomfortable."
It was barely acceptable.
With his other hand, he picked up the phoenix-shaped Golden Scepter from the workbench.
"The Seto Inland Sea is so vast. Even if there aren't any large magical creatures, you know what's out there."
Sharks were rare enough, but if they ran into a whale, even getting brushed against it would hurt terribly.
And there were octopuses, eels, and the like. Just thinking about them felt a little disgusting.
Daphne narrowed her eyes and lightly poked the Golden Scepter, which looked more like a work of art than a weapon.
"You're sure this thing can drive away whales?"
"See that symbol? Press it, and it'll activate the Magical Circuit."
The armor and scepter both used a phoenix theme, with a bold golden color scheme. If all of them followed this template, it would not be entirely unacceptable.
Vincent caught the two sheets of parchment as he had hoped. "By the way, what animals do you all like?"
Hermione had known something like this would happen.
Having them all look the same did not suit his tastes.
This set alone was distinctive enough. The remaining twelve would only be more unique.
"Can we just name whatever we want?"
"No, you can't." He took a deep breath.
"Fire dragons, bats, lizards,
