He gently squeezed Vincent's broad shoulder. "You're a lot like your father. I trust you'll cherish Hermione."

Their families knew each other well enough. Vincent was handsome, good-natured, and had no bad habits. Chris had no reason to object at all.

Besides, he knew his daughter Hermione's personality well. Even if he objected, it would not have done any good.
