Stepping into the Spotlight

The wizards qualified to attend the International Confederation of Wizards conference as representatives were either Ministers of Magic from various countries or highly respected veteran wizards. They could practically be said to represent half of the Wizarding World.

Facing them, Vincent opened with an overt display of force.

It was not exactly arrogance, but it did carry a hint of looking down on everyone else.

Nor did he leave discreetly. Shortly after revealing itself, La Voiture Noire, in submarine form, sailed through the stained-glass window that had been opened by Transfiguration.

The instant the river water surged into the hall, it separated into droplets and clung to the marble floor that had been turned upside down to form the ceiling.

They gathered together again, reflecting the varied expressions on the faces below.

Vincent lightly leaped onto the submarine and looked down at the representatives of magical governments from around the world.

A severe blow to the International Confederation of Wizards' reputation was enough. The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy had become a deeply rooted ideology, not something that could simply be overturned by force.

La Voiture Noire slowly sailed out of the hall, the river water clinging to it dripping down like rain.

More than a dozen white-clad figures passed through the curtain of water and gradually disappeared into the distance beneath everyone's watchful eyes.

"That..." Rita gently bit her fingertip, staring intently at the conspicuous black patterns on the backs of their cloaks.

They closely resembled the Magical Runes symbolizing Vincent, "?", though the lines had been altered slightly and the edges appropriately extended.

She quickly pulled out her notebook and copied the black pattern stroke by stroke.

They were indeed Magical Runes, and the decoded message contained only three words.

"The Superseding Order"

"Succession Society..." Rita murmured it
