The sapphire-blue Bugatti EB110 drove onto the highway toward Bristol.
Vincent did not drive especially fast, keeping the speed at around fifty or sixty.
Hermione, sitting in the passenger seat, naturally knew he was being considerate of her.
"You can drive a little faster."
Their destination was quite far away. At this speed, they probably would not arrive until noon.
Vincent slightly increased the speed, and a mild push-back sensation immediately appeared.
Beside him, Hermione held the flowers and quietly watched him drive with such focus.
"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
She shyly looked away, but quickly turned back again. "No, I'm looking at my handsome, dashing, charming boyfriend."
Vincent paused for a moment. "You adapted pretty quickly."
Hermione blinked playfully. "Isn't it all thanks to you?
"Fred and George kept calling me the 'Gryffindor boss lady' at school lately, and you always said I was second only to the 'Hogwarts social butterfly.'"
Vincent laughed speechlessly and turned his attention back to the road ahead. "I've always been lucky. Looks like I shared a little of that luck with you."
Hermione leaned closer to him. "Actually, I've been pretty lucky too. Otherwise, I wouldn't have met you."
The reason she had transformed from an unremarkable bookworm into the elegant, poised young lady she was now had long been obvious.
"Is that so? That's great." Vincent kept his eyes fixed on the road ahead. "Our good luck will definitely continue."
A blissful smile appeared on Hermione's face. "That's right. It definitely will."
Vincent instinctively glanced at her and lost himself for a moment.
They had once been classmates and friends, but now they were a couple who had begun dating.
Even with the same outfit and expression, Hermione gave him a completely different feeling.
