A veteran Level Seven suddenly charged madly toward the Law Fragment, following its aura at a speed that left people speechless.
The other Level Sevens also went wild. The reason they had been willing to be the first batch of Level Sevens to attack, choosing to fight despite knowing they would likely die, was to gamble for a chance at advancement.
To put it bluntly, veteran Level Sevens were Level Sevens incapable of advancing to Level Eight.
If they could advance, who would remain at Level Seven forever?
These Level Sevens had either gone down the wrong path in comprehending the power of laws and could not improve any further, or too many people had comprehended the same law path, leaving them unable to rise.
And the existence of Law Fragments meant that, at the very least, they could advance to Level Nine.
If it matched the power of laws they already possessed, they could advance to Level Nine in a short time, directly using the Law Fragment to fill the gaps in their understanding of laws.
If it did not match, they merely had to switch to a different power of laws. Law Fragments came from shattered god-level laws and could, at worst, help someone become Level Nine.
