A glint flashed through Cao Jingwu's eyes. He quietly shifted closer to the energy source, lightly curling his fingers as though trying to draw the laws within it's attention, but received no response whatsoever.
What was going on?
Why were the laws ignoring him?
Cao Jingwu looked perplexed. He had previously relied on the Law of Blazing Sun to become a Level Seven Descender and had even thoroughly beaten Yi Ze, but afterward, that law had vanished.
Could it be that the law did not acknowledge him?
At that thought, shame and indignation appeared on Cao Jingwu's face. He was practically the last person from Lieyang Star. Even if his talent was poor, he was the last one left, so could it not be so picky?
Unwilling to accept this, Cao Jingwu moved closer to the energy source again. If he could obtain the laws of Lieyang Star, perhaps he would still have a chance to deal with Jiang Yang.
Cao Jingwu even reached his hand into the energy source. Only by relying on his own profession did he avoid being burned by it, but the scorching heat wrapped around his arm, gradually blackening the skin.
Why was the law still not responding?
Cao Jingwu's expression changed. At that moment, Jiang Yang suddenly turned to look at him and asked in confusion, "If you want the law, you could've just told me. I can give it to you."
"I absorbed all the laws inside that energy source, so stop digging around in there."
Jiang Yang tried taking a tiny strand of the Law of Blazing Sun out of the Death Forbidden Zone. It was, after all, a law power that led directly to the God-King Level. Though incomplete, it was far more complete than god-level laws.
