Banner's voice suddenly rang in Aaron's ear, making him pause as he prepared to bottle the Holy Water.
"What is it?"
"Boss, Fury is here."
"At Avengers Base?" Aaron raised an eyebrow. "He really knows how to pick a place!
But that makes sense. Other than Kamar-Taj, which is crawling with sorcerers, Avengers Base is probably the safest place on Earth."
"How did he arrange things?" Aaron asked directly, but then suddenly thought of something. "Wanda is at Avengers Base too. She didn't get involved, did she?"
"She was going to, but I stopped her in time." Banner said as if claiming credit. "The other Avengers have all been sent out. Wanda and I are holding down the base."
"It isn't just the two of you, is it?"
"Nearly Headless Nick is here too."
The corners of Aaron's mouth curled up as he said meaningfully, "Doctor Banner, let me test you with a question.
If Witchcraft Demon invaded the base and his target was Nearly Headless Nick, while you, Nearly Headless Nick, and Wanda were all in the Meeting Room, what would you do?
One more thing: Witchcraft Demon wouldn't hurt Nearly Headless Nick. He would only take him hostage."
"Uh..." Banner pondered for a while before saying conflictedly, "The question isn't what I would do, but what Hulk would do?
Hulk wouldn't consider too much when fighting, but Wanda's safety would come first. As for Fury's safety... I'd do my best."
"Not bad. I'm very satisfied with that answer." Aaron nodded approvingly. "Don't worry about that bastard Nick Fury. Even if he really gets captured, I can find a way to keep him alive.
