Samael frowned, a faint trace of surprise in his golden eyes.
A golden bullet sat in his palm. It had nearly pierced through his right hand, and the holy aura it emitted rapidly evaporated the black markings on his hand.
"Who?" Samael roared angrily. His Demon True Form had been wounded. Though the damage was minor, it was nothing less than a blatant humiliation to him.
"If there's no one else, then it should be me." Aaron emerged from the woods with Abei. The exquisite, luxurious Flintlock Pistol at his waist looked exceptionally irritating to Samael.
"Mr. Gaius." Peter Parker was both relieved and annoyed. "Why did you only get here now?"
"You can't fight a High-ranking Demon like Samael without adequate preparation." Aaron spoke without so much as a blush, sounding entirely righteous and not the least bit embarrassed.
"You did very well. Leave the rest to me!"
"But..."
"No buts. If you stay, you'll only hold me back." Aaron showed no courtesy whatsoever.
Peter Parker hesitated and did not leave. He silently replaced his web-shooters instead. "One more person means one more bit of strength."
"No, you absolutely have to trust me.
You won't be able to help if you stay. You'll only increase my risk."
Samael was a High-ranking Demon, a Demon Lord, a whole level stronger than Witchcraft Demon.
Defeating him without using magic would likely require quite a few methods.
If Peter Parker got involved, Aaron would have to divert his attention to protecting him.
"I had Barnes bring a flying vehicle. Go help him get Scott and the others aboard, then leave this place as quickly as possible.
Tell the Avengers about Samael's scheme. We absolutely cannot let him succeed."
"What about you?"
"Why do you have so many questions? Get going."
