After the meeting ended, the dependents left the Mind World one by one. However, Jane and Rogue tacitly chose to remain.
The two women's gazes met, colliding in midair and throwing off fierce sparks.
But their confrontation ended in an instant, because they seemed to realize that they shared the same goal. They immediately decided to form a united front.
"Why haven't you two left?" Aaron asked in confusion. "Do you want to see the newly created life forms?"
"No." Rogue spoke first. Then, gathering her courage, she walked up to Aaron. "Did you forget something? What I said when I came to see you last time?"
Aaron blinked. Looking at the breathtakingly beautiful girl before him, he directly reached out, held the back of her neck, tilted his head up, and kissed her.
Rogue bent down and lowered her head, her hands unconsciously settling on his shoulders as her breathing grew heavier and heavier.
After a long while, their lips parted.
The unease in Rogue's eyes instantly vanished. Her face flushed red like ripe fruit.
"This is the answer you wanted. I've given it to you."
"Th-that's it? Just one kiss?"
"Correction: it was a passionate, intense kiss." Aaron said solemnly. "Consider it a seal. From now on, you're my woman."
"But... it's so different from what I imagined." Rogue said, sounding somewhat aggrieved. She had finally made up her mind to give herself to him.
Yet all she got in return was a kiss. It felt like such a loss.
"You're that eager for me to devour you whole?" Aaron teased. Then he rubbed her head. "I entered the Mind World with my real body, but you're only a consciousness body. Do you understand?"
"I understand. Of course I understand." A smug gleam appeared on Rogue's face. "An
