"Sign it!" Aaron urged meaningfully. "Show me your sincerity."
"Uh..." Lucifer smiled awkwardly yet politely. "Isn't it a little inappropriate to have me sign a contract the first time we meet?
"I don't mean anything else by it. It's just that there should be more trust between people, shouldn't there?"
"It is indeed inappropriate." Aaron neither confirmed nor denied it, then changed the subject. "But I really have no way of trusting a stranger I've just met.
"You know, for a Gaius, only a written contract can put one at ease."
Lucifer laughed speechlessly. "All right! Perhaps I forgot to add something earlier.
"I can give you a portion of Hell Origin, but I hope that after becoming a Dimension Lord, you can... work for me."
"That's really cheap. You want Gaius to work himself to the bone for you over a portion of Hell Origin?"
"Let me correct you. Not work himself to the bone.
"You can think of it as acknowledging me as your boss." Lucifer lifted his chin, puffed out his chest, and straightened his suit. "I guarantee I won't treat you badly. All my underlings in Hell can vouch for me and speak on my behalf."
"Is that so?"
"Of course."
"All right! I can accept your sincerity once again." Aaron then added an "attachment" to the contract.
Lucifer's face twitched. "This?"
"Don't mind it. I actually really want a big brother I can rely on.
"You have both the ability and the intention. I couldn't be happier!
"It's just... some things are better made clear in advance, so there won't be any unnecessary misunderstandings later."
"This contract may not be especially detailed, but I've included every responsibility and obligation I could think of. It can ensure, to the greatest extent possible, that 'the elder brother
