The next day, Aaron opened his eyes and turned to look at Wanda, asleep against his shoulder. A meaningful smile tugged at his lips.

"Master, Hela left this for you."
"Hm?" Aaron froze for a moment before realizing what had happened. "She left?"
"She left before dawn." Abei showed a shy, human-like expression. "I took her to Norway."
"The birthplace of Norse Mythology?" Aaron's expression was complicated. "If there's a portal to Asgard there, then it is indeed possible.
"But leaving without even saying goodbye... after all this time, she still hasn't learned any manners."
"Master, she left you a letter," Abei reminded him.
Aaron opened the envelope. There were only a few words on the letter.
The contract between us has ended. From now on, Hela Odinson owes Aaron Gaius nothing.

"How ridiculous."
Aaron chuckled and stored the letter in a Space Magic circle.
After all, it was a letter left by the Goddess of Death. It was quite worth keeping as a memento.
Still, breaking things off would not be so easy. He would have to find a way to save her during Ragnarok. When that time came, she would still owe him a favor.
"Since when did I become so sentimental?" Aaron laughed at himself, then looked toward the bedroom door. "Now Wanda's the only
