The seawater, dyed an eerie green by the Killing Curse, struck Surtur's body, immediately producing the sound of strong acid dissolving a wall.

"Aah!"

Surtur let out a pained howl, and the flames on his body visibly dimmed.

Though it lasted only a short time, it had genuinely harmed Surtur and made him feel pain, forcing him to pause his attack.

"The aura of death?" Hela said in surprise. "It killed the flames. Too bad it wasn't powerful enough, or it really could have erased the Eternal Fire's immortal nature."

"Celestial Fathers aren't that easy to kill! Unless I advance to cosmic level, thinking I can kill Surtur in one move is just wishful thinking." Aaron said matter-of-factly. "But... as long as it works."

"Seeking death! You dare harm the great King of Fire Giants?" Surtur roared as he raised the Twilight Sword and viciously brought it down on the barrier.

The overburdened barrier finally gave out. The Patronus let out a mournful cry before dissolving into nothingness.

A massive ice-blue Magic Array suddenly appeared, summoning a gigantic Ice Shield to brace against the descending flaming greatsword.

"I hate ice." The moment Surtur saw the frost-emitting ice, he thought of the Fire Giants' archenemies, the Frost Giants. The force behind his sword immediately increased.

In an instant, cracks spread across the Ice Shield, and it looked ready to shatter at any moment.

"Just as expected, using a forbidden-level Magic Array against a Celestial Father is still too much." Aaron muttered. After all, he was currently an "incomplete form" and could not fully wield the power a God of Magic should possess.

"Can you handle it?" Hela asked in a sarcastic tone. "I can help."

"Now that you've asked, can I still say no?"
