"She told me about Kilgrave." Luke let out a soft sigh. "At first, I didn't really believe it. After all, controlling people's minds sounded too absurd.
But I still tried to believe her, and I went looking for him, because I didn't think Jessica would kill innocent people indiscriminately."
"And then? Did you find him?"
"I did." Luke said with lingering fear, "It was a nightmare."
"I found Kilgrave. I was planning to rush over and kill him, but the moment he opened his mouth, I stopped and obediently got into his car.
I knew what I was doing, but I couldn't resist. I couldn't refuse.
He asked how I knew Jessica. After learning about our relationship, he made me notify Jessica. Once she arrived, he would detonate the bomb he'd planted in the bar beforehand.

"That won't work. As long as he's alive, any evidence will lose its effect."
