Titles might represent divisions of strength among vampires, but for the vast majority of vampires, they did not signify a qualitative change, only a quantitative one to a certain extent.
Those with higher titles were indeed stronger than those with lower titles. They had greater strength, faster speed, or more refined control over their supernatural abilities, but they could still be overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
"Are all vampires like you?

Werewolves have different branches too. I don't know the specifics, but all of them can freely control their transformations."
