"I knew it would be like this." Aaron seemed to have expected it all along, with not the slightest surprise in his voice. "I don't have any cold-weather clothes here, but you can bring her over."
Edward froze for a moment, tossed out a quick "Thanks," and hurried back.
He did not think too much about it. He only felt that Aaron's tent was warmer than the one he had brought, and Bellatrix desperately needed that bit of warmth right now.
Edward returned to his tent, nodded at Jacob, who was keeping watch beside Bellatrix, then carefully picked her up.
"What are you doing?"
"Taking her to a relatively warm camp. Gaius has already agreed."
Upon hearing that, Jacob immediately got up to help.
He did not like Edward in the slightest, but Bellatrix was still the girl he loved. He did not want her to freeze either.
Jacob transformed into a giant wolf and shielded them from the wind and snow on one side, while Edward unconsciously quickened his pace.
The moment they entered the dark blue tent, a wave of warmth washed over them.
The three of them stared blankly at the spacious hall before them, all wondering for a moment whether they had fallen under Illusion Magic.
It was clearly only a medium-sized tent outside, yet the interior was so extravagant. The living room, kitchen, and bedrooms were all fully furnished, and there was even a fountain in the middle. It practically blinded them.
"Don't just stand there." Aaron spoke flatly. "Put her by the fireplace and let her warm up."
Edward snapped out of it and carefully laid Bellatrix on the sofa beside the fireplace.
Bellatrix had barely regained some strength. She looked curiously at the surroundings and the snowy night scene overhead. "Is this magic?"
