"Loki," Odinson said again, with greater certainty than before.

The guard's heart skipped a beat. He stared blankly at Odinson and feigned confusion. "Your Majesty, do you wish to inspect Loki's body?"

Odinson gave him a long look, then sat upon the newly moved throne. "Where did you find the courage to think your Illusion Magic could deceive the eyes of the All-Father?"

"Your Majesty, perhaps you have misunderstood something?" The guard hurriedly dropped to his knees. "Loki truly is dead."

"Is that so? Then who is kneeling before me now?"

The guard was about to continue explaining when Queen Frigga appeared beside him and helped him up. "Loki, I taught you your magic."

Hearing that, the guard smiled sheepishly. A layer of green light flashed over him, and he returned to his true form: Asgard's Second Prince, Loki.

"Fine! That was my mistake. I didn't expect His Majesty and the Queen to both see through my magic."

"Father and Mother," Frigga said with feigned displeasure.

"It's all the same." Loki was unconcerned. "So should I return to my room now? The bright cage, the tables and chairs, the books... I strangely miss them."

"Loki." Frigga shot him a glare. "Don't be so disrespectful before your Father King. Do you truly intend to stay in the dungeon for the rest of your life?"

"Could it be..."
