"I thought you came here just to investigate the spatial anomaly and figure out where the Spatial Nodes were. I didn't expect... you really had some ideas. And they weren't very reliable ones, either."

Aaron immediately swung the gun around and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
A golden bullet pierced through the wall and passed through a Dark Elf's skull. Black blood mixed with brain matter sprayed from the hole in his head.
Aaron took the phone from beside Jane's ear. "Daisy, are you okay?"
"Uh... I'm okay."
"Didn't I tell you to run?"
"You can't blame us for this! Who would've thought Dark Elves could suddenly fall from the sky?"
"Spatial Nodes. I'm suddenly regretting letting you come here." Aaron rubbed his forehead, then pondered for a moment before saying, "But experiencing more things isn't necessarily bad. Your life might get even more exciting in the future.
Hide in a corner now. Keep Abei beside you, and don't run around."
"Huh?"
"Stop 'huh'-ing and do as I say." Aaron's tone left no room for argument. He handed the phone back to Jane. "You two... stay here for now."
