Gaius's Divination Shop.
After returning home, the first thing Aaron did was call Daisy to let her know he was safe.
"Hello! Aaron, you're back?" Daisy's relieved voice came through the phone. Being able to get through meant Aaron was still on Earth. "Where are you now?"
"New York, Hell's Kitchen.
Malekith and I first went to the Dark World. When we came out through a spatial rift, we happened to arrive here.
Not bad luck. It's pretty close to home."
"You..."
"How is Malekith?" Thrór asked solemnly. "And what about the Aether?"
"Thrór, it's really rude of you to interrupt at a time like this.
Please give the phone back to Daisy. I'll answer your questions later."
"This is important."
Aaron rolled his eyes. "Malekith is dead, the kind without even a corpse left behind. As for the Aether... I sealed it away."
"That's good."
"Now please give the phone back to Daisy."
"Oh!"
A few seconds later, Daisy's voice came through the phone again. "You're not hurt, right? You definitely aren't, right?"
"Others may not know how strong my body is, but don't you?" Aaron teased. "If you don't believe me, you can come inspect it yourself."
"Don't joke around." Daisy said, blushing. The looks from the people around her made her so embarrassed that she stomped her foot.
"Fine! But I really wasn't joking. I genuinely hope you'll come."
"I..." Daisy hesitated as she looked at Jane and Erik. "I have my own career!"
"As an intern?"
"I-I'm about to become a full employee."
Aaron pondered for a moment, then considered his identity and situation. "As long as you're happy. But at least make some time to come see me, okay?"
"I know. I'll come find you when I'm on vacation.
Oh, right. Abei can breathe fire..."
