Skye's face twitched as she said with an awkward laugh, "That would be pretty hard. Centipede soldiers are hard enough one-on-one. If there's a whole group of them, you run!"
"Come to think of it, has the Centipede Serum already entered mass production?"
"Impossible." Fitz said with certainty, "The Centipede Serum has major hidden dangers. Chen Haoran's platelets can prevent the Extremis Virus component from exploding, but it's like taking drugs.
"As time passes, Centipede soldiers need increasingly larger injections of serum, and the side effects get worse and worse.
"Rather than super soldiers, Centipede soldiers are more like expendable goods. Every one of them has a shelf life, and they're extremely expensive."
"Garrett really went all in." May frowned as she spoke. "When I fought him, I found that he had injected himself with Centipede Serum too.
"It was at his waist, and he seemed even more dependent on the Centipede Serum than the other Centipede soldiers."
