Steve and Natasha got out of the car, opened the trunk, and carried Bucky—wrapped in bandages and tightly bound to a stretcher—inside.
Hela merely glanced at them before turning her attention back to the television.
Jane, meanwhile, silently entered the workroom and called Aaron out.
"You two work fast," Aaron said as he came out, studying Bucky's right arm and legs with amusement. "The wounds have all been treated too."
"Thanks to those medicines of yours," Natasha said half-jokingly. "Fury was unusually generous for once."
"Hm?" Aaron paused, then seemed to understand. "That sounds like him. One Captain America wasn't enough for him; he wanted a Winter Soldier too."
Natasha shrugged, neither confirming nor denying it.
"You just got out of Hydra and into S.H.I.E.L.D. Your luck really is something else," Aaron remarked, looking at Bucky with a trace of pity.
