A few hours of work for two hundred Magic Points. Aaron mused. It feels like taking on a temp job, but it definitely isn't a loss.

"Ha ha!" Aaron gave a dry laugh, then pointed at his eyes. "Agent Coulson, look me in the eye. Do you believe that yourself?"
"I do." Coulson nodded seriously.
Aaron studied his eyes carefully. Only after confirming there wasn't the slightest trace of guilt did he relax a little. "I'll reluctantly believe you."
"Fury has made other arrangements for our team. We'll receive sufficient personnel and supplies, so this may be the last time you see us for quite a while."
"That's wonderful."
Coulson laughed helplessly. "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s core purpose can be summed up in two words: protection.

"But you wouldn't tell me even the things you do know."
Coulson shrugged, expressing his helplessness.
