Airbus, interrogation room.
Aaron, Coulson, and Sif sat at the table. Across from them was the handcuffed Kree.
"I came to save you." The Kree spread his cuffed hands wearily, utterly lacking the awareness of a captive.
"So that's why you attacked me, Kree?" Sif glared at him hostilely.
"Get this straight, ma'am. You attacked me first." The Kree felt inexplicably wronged. "I'd only just arrived on Earth when you found me.
"You didn't give me any chance to explain. You just attacked.
"I was almost under the impression that I'd hurt you somehow, but I've never gone out of my way to offend women.
"I had no choice but to erase your memories to keep you from tracking me. Was self-defense wrong too?
"By the way, how did you find me?"
"You have no right to ask questions, Kree." Sif slapped the table. "Don't speak."
"That's a bit much." Aaron's eye twitched. "We have plenty of questions for him. If he can't speak, are we supposed to use telepathy?"
"We do need him to talk," Coulson added awkwardly.
"I can prove that I'm not a threat to you," the Kree said, stressing once again, "I came to save you. Give me my baton..."
"So he really is a Kree." Sif coldly cut him off and pointed her sword at him. "You need a weapon to make your point."
You're the one holding a weapon right now!
The Kree was speechless. He turned toward the owner of the aircraft. "My baton can restore her memories. Wouldn't that prove my good intentions?"
"Once I confirm that the baton can do what you claim, I'll consider it," Coulson said. "What's your name?"
"Von Dack. I will earn your trust."
The three left the interrogation room and entered the laboratory.
