If he remembered correctly, among the twenty-two Divine Pathways was the Abyss Pathway, also known as the Demon Pathway.
There was currently no candidate for the Demon Pathway. Even if there were, advancing from the lower Sequences to the higher ones would be extraordinarily difficult.
From Sequence Nine to Sequence Zero, this pathway consisted of Criminal—Fallen Angel—Serial Killer—Demon—Apostle of Desire—Devil—Whisperer—Blood Duke—Filth King—The Abyss.
To put it bluntly, the divine throne of this pathway stood at the peak of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, and every step leading to that summit was paved with bones.
He had originally intended to keep the Demon Pathway hidden away forever, but if he could create a demon, it would begin at Sequence Six. The stages of Criminal, Fallen Angel, and Serial Killer could be skipped entirely.
Moreover, it would already be a demon, so there would be no need for role-playing at Sequence Six. After immersing itself in the role for a while, it could naturally advance to Sequence Five, Apostle of Desire. As for advancing further... he could slowly look for opportunities!
If all else failed, it could only wait things out. The demons he created would not lack for lifespan anyway.
Right, there was also a flame-based lifeform in the spiritual world that had fused with the Flame Demon Heart. Perhaps he could incorporate it into the Book of Demons as well...
