Chapter Summaries

Konoha and Iwa’s forces fought Nagato’s Six Paths of Pain using a strategy designed to restrain Deva Path Pain and neutralize the Preta Path’s Ninjutsu absorption. They sealed the Preta Path away, freeing Ōnoki to use Dust Release, while Sarutobi Hiruzen prepared to face Pain with Enma’s Adamantine Staff.

• Nara Shikaku restrained Deva Path Pain as Sarutobi Hiruzen and Ōnoki attacked, but the Preta Path absorbed their Ninjutsu, including Dust Release.
