World Source, System Spirit's Secret

As he infiltrated and dismantled it, Bai Yu gradually came to understand all the secrets of this unfamiliar System.

Even though he hadn't reached the core of the System yet, Bai Yu couldn't help but gasp.

These dismantled materials all contained World Source, and not only in large quantities but also of high quality. At the very least, they were the World Source of a Grand Cosmos.

Laws form the foundation of a world's framework and are the principles governing its operation.

Then, World Source is the energy needed to create matter and for the world to operate.

As for the Great Dao?

The Great Dao is supreme, infinite, capable of suppressing all, creating all, and disregarding all laws and rules.

The Great Dao is beyond concept.

The Great Dao is above Laws and worlds.

The primary material used to construct this unfamiliar System came from the World Source of a Grand Cosmos.

This made Bai Yu somewhat surprised. Could this System have robbed a Grand Cosmos?

No, definitely not.

Because this unfamiliar System was too weak, only containing a deficient Source Great Dao. How could it possibly have the ability to rob a Grand Cosmos!

With his doubts and confusion, Bai Yu continued dismantling.

Everything outside the System's core was wrapped in this Grand Cosmos's World Source material.

That made sense. World Source can create all matter not exceeding its own intrinsic quality. It is indeed the most top-tier material under the Great Dao.

A Grand Cosmos was a world that even the current Bai Yu dared not enter.

Yet, the main body of this weakling System was refined from the World Source of a Grand Cosmos.

He saw a wisp of divine light slowly rise from the System core, then slowly transform into the appearance of a humanoid being. It had no facial features, only presenting a human shape.

Bai Yu found it hideous. Before the humanoid being could speak, the Great Dao power contained within the Devour Abyss Flag and the Yin-Yang Pearl directly surged forward, obliterating the humanoid being!

It's not your fault for being ugly, but it's wrong to come out and scare people.

The System Spirit was also bewildered. What the heck, big brother, what are you doing? I came out to surrender, why did you suddenly attack?!

To please Bai Yu, the System Spirit had deliberately transformed into a human shape.

It was known that towards its previous Transmigrator host, it had been completely disdainful, treating that host like a beast of burden and not even bothering to say much!

However, Bai Yu only wanted to know some of the System's secrets and was not interested in taking in subordinates at all.

After obliterating the System Spirit, the System core showed no change. Clearly, its existence or absence had no impact.

With the help of the Great Dao power from the Devour Abyss Flag and the Yin-Yang Pearl, and controlling the Three Thousand Source Laws himself, refining this System core wouldn't be difficult.

However, this complete Great Dao, whether due to the world's destruction or some other reason, had not become incomplete along with the Grand Cosmos. Instead, it had returned to its origin, becoming a nascent state.

In other words, it had become a Dao Seed.

A nascent Great Dao, much like a newly planted seed, needed to root, sprout, grow strong, and eventually blossom and bear fruit. Only then could the Dao Fruit be harvested, and the Great Dao be proven.

This was the growth of the Great Dao, and more importantly, the process of comprehending and ultimately controlling it.

In the future, when Bai Yu became a Grand Luo Golden Immortal, he would also go through a similar process.

The core of this System was, in fact, the world core of that Grand Cosmos, and the System's main body, the World Source, was the World Source of that Grand Cosmos.

Thus, they shared the same origin and were perfectly integrated, as no other world's source had been mixed in.

This world core was not a complete world, but merely a fragment of its core.

This System, relying on the power of the complete Great Dao to traverse the Myriad Realms and bind with Transmigrator hosts, had a true objective: to steal Law Source and World Source to nurture the Dao Seed.

Once the Dao Seed blossomed and bore fruit, the System would obtain the complete Source Great Dao.

With that, the destroyed Grand Cosmos could be re-created, cycling through cycles of creation and destruction.

This was not just the rebirth of a Great Dao, but also the rebirth of a world.

This was the ultimate goal of that System Spirit.

And that System Spirit could be considered the Heavenly Dao spirit of that Grand Cosmos, or perhaps the residual will of all living beings from that Grand Cosmos at the moment of its destruction.

As such, the System Spirit, upholding the Heavenly Dao and the last wishes of all sentient beings, spared no effort and diligently traversed the Myriad Realms, stealing Source energies.
