"Someone will barge in midway, someone will barge in midway..."
After silently repeating it seven times, Klein flicked the coin high into the air. When it landed tails-up in his palm, he nodded slightly.
"Tails means no."
He slipped the one-penny coin into his pocket, then stood before the doll and took four steps backward, arriving Above the Gray Fog. He intended to try divining here first; if that failed, he would bring the doll up into the Gray Fog.
Standing at the head of the Bronze Long Table, Klein looked down through the Gray Fog at his own body, bringing the doll into view. Then, he clearly saw that a "spirit" seemed to reside within it.

Although the divination showed that Miss Magician would not barge in midway, no one knew how long that divination covered. Klein did not delay any further and immediately materialized paper and pen, writing a line of text—
"The origin of the doll before me."
Grasping the slip of paper and silently repeating the divination statement seven times, Klein's eyes turned pitch-black. He suddenly leaned backward and entered a sleeping state, his consciousness slipping into a hazy dream...
