"Since they're family heirlooms, is it really alright to sell them to me?"
"It doesn't matter. I have the technology to create this kind of Extraordinary Item. Most of them have already been lost anyway, so selling a few more makes no difference. Rather than tracking down those old items scattered who-knows-where one by one, I'd rather make a new set myself."
