"Miss, you only have two months until you come of age socially. Don't be too hasty!" Annie carefully reminded her in the carriage heading to Viscount Grellint's home.
Audrey did not react at first. She even nodded seriously and said:
"Although I am a little impatient to come of age socially, it is not something that can be changed just by being anxious."
What Audrey had actually been thinking about when she said that was her disposable assets. After all, most of her current property was managed specifically by her family, and she could only access a portion of her allowance. Once she came of age in the social sense, some assets such as estates and land would be transferred into her name, greatly increasing the assets she could freely allocate. Through those lessons, she had gradually realized how frightening the power she possessed was. Unless necessary, she basically would not read the minds of those around her.
The carriage gradually came to a stop. With Annie's support, Audrey stepped down and walked toward the front entrance with a standard social gait. There, she saw Viscount Grellint, who was clearly deeply conflicted yet still
