Above the Gray Fog, Klein briefly experienced the abilities of a Trick Master. After a short burst of excitement, he forcibly calmed himself down, suppressing the urge to immediately head into the depths of the Gray Fog, and returned to reality to rest.
Although he had appeared to enter the battle to hunt Ince Zangwill only for the final blow, his uninterrupted use of the Sea God Scepter from beginning to end had long since drained his spirituality. If not for his experience of stubbornly holding on while convening The Tarot Club, he even felt that he might not have lasted until the moment he fired at Ince.
Fortunately, everything had gone smoothly.
"So, all of this was that person's arrangement? 0-08 is a Sequence One characteristic of the Spectator pathway... perhaps even a Uniqueness? While Ince Zangwill arranged the fates of others, he himself was also in that person's script? No wonder Senior Perrdax was so wary of Spectators..."
Lying in bed, Klein could not help reviewing the previous battle. Then, several inconsistencies emerged in his mind. Amid his complicated emotions, he slowly entered sleep through shallow meditation, until his spirituality was full once more.
After confirming that he had recovered to his best condition, Klein immediately took four steps backward and arrived Above the Gray Fog. He headed deeper into that mysterious space, toward the stairway of light that led to something like heaven.
Just as he expected, another layer of steps had appeared there. The stairs condensed from light were now enough for him to climb onto the gathered gray clouds.
What would be up there? The reason for his transmigration? Hope of returning home? Or perhaps merely treasures left behind by the previous owner?
