"Ship of Theseus?" Klein did not yet have many thoughts about the godhood Sno had mentioned, but the name of this charm stirred his memories.
He immediately swallowed the food in his mouth and said with barely a pause:
"I know an Angel who, for certain reasons, is missing part of his soul. As a result, he has to lose his memories and start over every so often. Could this Ship of Theseus help him?"
"Him? Not 'He'? Looks like the two of you are quite close." Sno smiled gently, leaned back, and then nodded.
"From what you said, that Angel should be from the Death Pathway, right? Hmm, let me think... a King of Angel who accommodated the uniqueness of the Death Pathway? Or a contingency for the resurrection of Death? Or perhaps he was accidentally contaminated by the Eternal Dark River, so he made the painful choice to cut away part of his own soul?"
"..." Klein had not expected this senior to infer so much from such a tiny clue. For a moment, he did not know how to explain it. Although he trusted this senior fairly well, he did not want to expose Mr. Azk's secret.
Seeing Klein's hesitation, Sno did not say much. He merely waved a hand and said:
"It doesn't matter. This spell was designed to recover what was 'lost.' It can even retrieve lost humanity, so repairing a soul is not difficult. However, to make a charm effective on an Angel, you need part of his body as ritual material. Hair and nails will do, though blood would be better."
Having received an affirmative answer, the heavy burden in Klein's heart finally lifted. He nodded and said:
"I'll write to him later, but he is currently asleep. It may take some time."
