It was finished. This should have been my most successful book so far. Thank you all for your support and companionship, and thank my editor for their care. Of course, I also had to thank Cuttlefish for writing such a great work as Lord of the Mysteries.
The idea for this book first came from a flash of Spiritual light when I was writing a crossover fanfic some time ago. I casually came up with the Scientific Mythical Beast Pathway, but at the time, it was just a joke. I never thought I would actually write it.
Then one day, a marketing account notification popped up on my phone, saying that whales and elephants did not get cancer because of some anticancer substance, and that there were supposedly cancer drugs and such. I did not take it seriously, but I did find it strange that elephants and whales did not get cancer. By common sense, every cell could become cancerous, so the more cells there were, the greater the chance of cancer should have been common sense too.
So I looked into it and learned about the Peto Paradox and Super Cancer.
At that moment, something went bang in my head, and the line "Primordial has awakened within me" surfaced. Then I thought, wouldn't a Great Old One from the Mystery World awakening within someone be like a kind of spiritual cancer?
As I slowly sorted out the logic, this book came into being. You could say I made these dumplings just for the Celestial Worthy's vinegar.
As for whether I would follow Lord of the Mysteries 2 with Peto Paradox 2...
All I could say was, maybe. It would depend on the content of Cuttlefish's Lord of the Mysteries 2. And even if I wrote it, it definitely would
