Obito and the others did not quite understand, but they respected Tomohiro. Presumably, he was not particularly clear on some of this world's basic knowledge, which created that sense of contrast.
Once he understood certain things better later on, this would not happen again.
"Alright, let's go. Rain Province is up ahead. We need to get into the city before the sun sets."
Rain Country was very small, so the distance from the border to Central City was not particularly far.
After walking for an hour, they arrived at the gates of Central City.
It was rather different from what Tomohiro had imagined. Mainly, it was much smaller in scale. He had thought that such a developed village would at least be half that size.
"Doesn't seem like anything special?"
Kakashi shook his head. "What can you see from outside? We'll only know once we go in and take a look."
Naturally, Tomohiro nodded. After going to all this trouble, there was no way he would turn around and leave.
The group of five immediately set out, preparing to enter Central City through the main gate.
There were guards at the entrance. Judging by the patterns on their uniforms, they were members of the Lotus Organization.
Kakashi knew that this was the organization Kakuzu, one of the administrators, belonged to. It was also an organization founded by Grandmaster Torikaze.
"Welcome, guests from Konoha."
"Hello, sir guard. We're here to visit Central City."
The guard smiled faintly. "Understood, but the necessary inspection still needs to be carried out. Don't worry, it'll be quick."
Just as the guard had said, inspections for people from Konoha entering Central City were relatively quick, but that did not mean they were lax.
They simply skipped some unnecessary, cumbersome procedures so they could enter the city
