Seeing this, Torikaze and the others quietly left, leaving the space to the two of them.
"Ran, I've been very happy during these three months with you. We both have feelings for each other."
"But those feelings aren't enough for either of us to cast everything aside without reservation. You can't let go of the Land of Whirlpools, and I can't let go of Konoha. Do you understand?"
Ran nodded after hearing this. "I understand."
In this relationship, both of them had things they could not give up. So why did Xinyu have to be the one to make the sacrifice?
