Torikaze shook his head. "Wishful thinking. You're lucky enough to be alive. Cloud Stone has a special structure that slows your metabolism, letting you live a few extra years in a roundabout way."
The Second Prince was already dumbfounded. He had not expected Torikaze's methods to be so ruthless. This was even more painful than killing him outright.
Before he could say anything else, Torikaze swept out his hand. The Cloud Stone immediately gave off a glow and sucked the Seventh Prince inside. Only a burst of wailing remained in the hall before gradually fading away.
"Alright, Second Prince. I'll leave this Cloud Stone in your care. It contains its own space, with everything one could need inside."
"As for that cramped space, I was only frightening him."
The Second Prince finally breathed a sigh of relief. "I must thank you for showing mercy, Torikaze."
