Torikaze waved a hand. "All right, all right. If that's the case, as long as you're happy. Go ask her after we get back."
"I don't have that kind of free time. I still need to remind those three groups to rehearse their new performances properly. The time is almost here."
"Fine, then. You've never cared about your child's affairs anyway."
Torikaze felt bitter inside, but he said nothing. He had clearly been the first to notice that Hogen was in love.
Yet now he had become someone who did not care at all.
"I'm not going to argue with you. Let's just head back."
With that, he placed a hand on Chisato's shoulder, and the two of them instantly vanished from the skies above the Land of Whirlpools.
When they reappeared, they were already within the Windcloud Clan.
Kushina and Minato happened to be home as well, and they were startled to see the couple return so soon.
"Brother, sister-in-law? You're back already? Has the rebellion in the Land of Whirlpools been resolved?"
Torikaze nodded. "It's resolved."
Torikaze deliberately watched Kushina's expression and found that she showed no reaction.
"Lord Ashina's six sons joined forces with a group of ministers to launch the rebellion. Over the years, they had turned the Land of Whirlpools into a living hell. But now it's all over."
Kushina casually asked, "What happened to them? Did Sister-in-law kill them all?"
Chisato replied, "Everyone except the Seventh Prince was killed. Your father was spared because of your status."
Kushina still showed little reaction. "It doesn't matter. I've even forgotten what he looks like. They recklessly destroyed the Land of Whirlpools that Grandpa painstakingly built. They deserved to die."
"If necessary, you can deal with them however you like. There's no need to consider my feelings."
