"Don't worry. I'll call Ran and have him send someone to pick us up."
Xinyu then dialed the long-unanswered number.
"Hello? Xinyu! Is something wrong?"
Xinyu answered, "It's me. We're on a beach in the Land of Whirlpools right now, but we don't know how to get to Uzushiogakure, so I called to ask. If it's convenient, could you send someone to pick us up?"
Ran immediately said, "Why send someone? I'll come pick you up myself. Turn on the video first and let me see which beach you're on."
Xinyu switched to the rear camera and turned on the video. When Ran saw the full view of the beach, his heart sank.
But he quickly recognized it as the beach where Lord Torikaze and Minato most often came ashore, and immediately replied.
"I know this place. Wait there a moment. I'll come pick you up right away."
Xinyu thanked him repeatedly, but before she could finish, Ran hung up.
Not long after, Xinyu spotted a figure running toward them from afar.
"Lady Xinyu, someone's coming."
Kakashi pointed in that direction.
Obito immediately looked over. "Yeah! It looks like Senior Ran is here."
Rin nodded as well. "It is Senior Ran. Looks like he's here to pick us up."
Hatake looked puzzled. "Wasn't he supposed to send someone? Why did the Daimyo come himself?"
Xinyu smiled at Hatake's reaction. "Ran and I are fairly close friends. Maybe that's why."
Kakashi gave a mysterious smile, and Xinyu quickly turned her head away.
"Kakashi, don't look at Lady Xinyu like that. Senior Ran will get angry later."
Xinyu sighed. "You lot, be serious. We're here on a mission."
Kakashi immediately returned to his usual expression.
Obito and Rin promptly moved to stand beside Xinyu.
Before long, Ran arrived before Xinyu. The two
