Kakashi wasn't annoyed by Might Guy; he just never knew how to deal with Might Guy's challenges.
"I hope Guy settles down for a few days this time."
Kakashi knew something like this would never make Might Guy give up challenging him.
Still, even a few days of rest would be nice.
"At any rate, Guy probably won't come looking for me during this break."
Hatake Sakumo had been practicing his swordsmanship in the yard. When he saw Kakashi return, he asked, "Huh? Hatake didn't come back with you?"
Kakashi replied, "He went off with Obito to do who knows what. I think they were going training."
Sakumo did not press further. "I think I just heard Guy's voice? Did he come challenge you?"
At that, Kakashi looked helpless. "Yeah, he came to challenge me, but I already knocked him flat. It'll probably be several days before the next time."
Sakumo sighed helplessly. "You, honestly. Why are you always so hard on Guy? The two of you can only improve faster by sparring with each other."
"That boy is no ordinary person. He just hasn't had the right opportunity to prove himself yet."
His father's words surprised Kakashi, because they were much the same as what Grandmaster Torikaze had said.
Grandmaster Torikaze had also said that Might Guy and his father merely lacked a good opportunity to prove themselves.
Otherwise, they were already exceptionally talented ninja in Konoha.
"It's not that I'm too hard on him. He's just too crazy, going on and on about youth every day."
Sakumo merely smiled. "If he weren't crazy, would he still have his own personality? Would he still catch your eye?"
Sakumo knew very well that his son had exceptionally high standards.
As a young genius, there were very few people he considered
