Taichi was overjoyed. Having lost his parents as a child, he had finally found a family in the Orphanage, only to lose it again.
Now that he had found that feeling of family again, he did not want to lose it so easily.
Minato rubbed Taichi's head. "All right, stop crying. You're like such a crybaby. Even my son doesn't cry as much as you do, and he's only three."
Taichi wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes and forced himself to stay calm. "No! I wasn't crying. My eyes just hurt a little."
Minato smiled and shook his head. "All right, all right. Whatever you say."
Everyone liked Taichi well enough. Minato planned to take him as a disciple once they returned to Konoha.
A boy with Magnet Release had quite good talent. He ought to achieve something in the future and should not keep living in a rotten place like the Royal Capital.
Without Torikaze, Minato, and the others, who knew what that child's future would have been like? Would he have lived out his life as an ordinary person? Or died?
There was no point thinking about it. That sort of thing would not happen anyway.
As they walked, they spotted a village in the distance. Built against the mountains, it looked quite magnificent.
"That should be Kumogakure, right?" Taichi pointed.
"That's right. That is Kumogakure. Let's go pay them a visit."
Taichi nodded happily, though ninja villages did not simply allow outsiders to enter.
That was only because it was Torikaze. Had they been strangers, they would never have been allowed inside.
At this point, Torikaze and the others no longer concealed their appearances. There was no need to.
Not many people here knew them, and concealing their faces when entering Kumogakure would only
