Hearing that reinforcements had arrived, Minato no longer cared about dinner and hurriedly asked about them.

"How is it? Who are the reinforcements?"

Jiraiya listed the clan heads one by one. "These are the only clan heads we've found so far. There may be others, and the Kage-level reinforcements from the other villages should be arriving soon as well. We can pay them a visit tomorrow morning."

"Good!" Minato had no objections, and Yahiko and Konan nodded in agreement.

As for Kushina, she was busy climbing the rankings and had no time to worry about such matters.

But her hunger was affecting her performance, and she could not help complaining, "Senior Jiraiya, why hasn't dinner been brought back yet?"

When she turned off her phone and looked back, she discovered that Jiraiya was already in the room. "Oh, Senior Jiraiya, you're back already. Why didn't you call me? This is so awkward."

She said it was awkward, but she did not feel awkward in the slightest. Kushina was just that carefree, never one to fuss excessively over little things.

After spending so many days together, she had found that Senior Jiraiya was actually quite easy to get along with. The personalities of the people in their group suited one another well.

Aside from Jiraiya being rather lecherous, everything else about him was pretty good.

"Kushina, Senior Jiraiya didn't buy dinner. He ran into reinforcements from Konoha at the entrance and started chatting with them."

"Ah..." Kushina's expression immediately turned aggrieved. "But I'm really hungry."

Jiraiya patted his chest. "Don't worry, dinner will be here soon. I already told Big Brother Torikaze. It's just that there won't be any new dishes today."

Kushina could accept that. After eating a piece of beef jerky Minato handed her, she resumed her charge up
