Torikaze thought for a moment, then said with a smile, "It's already late today, so they'll probably leave tomorrow. If you can get up early, you might be able to meet him."

Torikaze had originally wanted Kaien to spar with Yahiko and the others so Yahiko could learn a little from the samurai's swordsmanship and see whether it might help him gain some insight and improve his own blade skills.

It would also improve his practical combat ability.

Unexpectedly, through a twist of fate, they had become good friends instead.

Naturally, Torikaze would not stop them. There was no longer much of a barrier between samurai and ninja.

The Land of Iron had also ended its isolation. Having a samurai friend was not a bad thing—after all, the more friends you had, the more paths opened before you.
